About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric leadership to our Neurodevelopmental Disorder team and supervising Band 7 nurses within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessments and reviews for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and psychiatric comorbidity
  • Lead on the development of specialist clinical services for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental difficulties and associated psychiatric comorbidity
  • Take Consultant responsibility for assessment and treatment, development of care plans, and management of pharmacological treatments
  • Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues, including paediatricians, schools, and 3rd sector organisations
  • Be available for consultation to partners in Education, Social care, and Paediatrics
