Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team at Essential Employment. As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including bank reconciliation, journal posting, and contributions monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies
- Post journals in respect of pension contributions received
- Chase late payment of contributions from employers
- Monitor and reconcile contributions to ensure accuracy
- Raise purchase orders and sales orders as required
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment
- Calculate and process recharges to employers
- Investigate and resolve interface and suspense account issues
- Prepare and submit VAT monthly returns to the Borough
- Coordinate stationery orders and support the closure of accounts, accruals, and prepayments
