The Aurora Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Meldreth Manor. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children and young adults with severe and profound communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high levels of care during daily activities such as washing, dressing, socializing, and learning.
- Assist with therapy sessions, including hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with the children and young adults.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
- Help develop learning and social skills.
Requirements
- No experience is required, but a willingness to learn and go the extra mile is essential.
- Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence.
- Exceptional communication skills and patience.
- Resilient with a robust and positive nature.
- Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of the children and young adults.
