Job Title: Associate - M&A Energies

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Infrastructure M&A team within the Private Equity practice in London.

About the Role

As an Associate, you will provide strategic advice to financial sponsor clients investing into infrastructure and energy businesses on a range of complex cross-border leveraged acquisitions, minority/control divestitures, consortium structures, co-investments and strategic joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice to financial sponsor clients investing into infrastructure and energy businesses.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, assisting with and implementing firm-wide strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across various practice areas within the firm to provide integrated legal services.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, including trainees, and manage outside counsel.
  • Develop and share legal and sector knowledge both internally and externally.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience within infrastructure and energy M&A transactions, gained wholly or in part at a large commercial law firm.
  • Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity.
  • Driven by professional growth with strong professional presence.
