Job Title: Engineering Apprenticeship Skills Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to join our team at Ad Warrior. As an Engineering Apprenticeship Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing apprenticeships in Engineering (Mechatronics) Apprenticeship Standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess apprenticeships in Engineering (Mechatronics) Apprenticeship Standard
  • Support the development of up-to-date knowledge, skills, and behaviors in apprentices
  • Have a good appreciation of employer skills needs and contribute to creating a brighter future for learners
  • Coach, assess, and support apprentices on Engineering courses
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress via tracking systems and e-portfolios
  • Build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organizations

Requirements:

  • Experience in Mechatronics within industry
  • A relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher
  • An A1/V1 Assessors Award (or equivalent)
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Teaching Qualification
  • IQA Award is desirable
