Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Mobile Engineers to service Rail Plant, Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), and various machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance following manufacturer guidelines.
- Respond to machine breakdowns at client locations and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defects on machinery and execute repairs as needed.

Qualifications:
- Ideally, candidates will have completed an apprenticeship in construction, HGV, agricultural, or plant maintenance, or possess equivalent experience as a mechanical fitter.
- Proficient knowledge of auto-electrics, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and pneumatics is essential.
- Capability to identify faults on heavy construction equipment and commercial HGVs and perform repairs as required.

Skills:
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and independently.
- Strong IT skills are necessary.
- Willingness to travel is required.

Additional Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must, along with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights and weekends.

FPS is expanding its operations into Scotland, and you will play a vital role in maintaining our growing fleet of FPS-manufactured rail plant equipment, as well as providing maintenance and fitter cover for our clients in Scotland and Northern England.

£14.00-£18.00 per hour
