Job Title: Merchandise Planning Manager

At Burberry, we are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planning Manager to join our global planning organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all Replenishment and Carry Forward planning activities across Accessories and Childrens.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Global Line Cards and Open to Buy for their Divisions
  2. Deliver Central Collection Open to Buy guidance and provide Seasonal Plans by Region, in line with guidance
  3. Owning relationships and driving collaboration with Central Merchants on Collection Development to ensure assortments meet both financial and creative objectives
  4. Ensure the timely delivery of insightful commercial analysis in order to drive the business' sales, sell through and margin
  5. Lead divisional Replenishment planning team in the absence of the Senior Manager Replenishment and Carry Forward, attending meetings as a divisional expert, delegating tasks and managing priorities within the team as necessary

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated experience managing members of a continuity planning team in a fast-paced commercial and luxury environment; fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and accountability
  2. Demonstrated experience across all aspects of Replenishment and Carry Forward planning, including global Open to Buy management, Line Card management and margin planning
  3. Customer-oriented when faced with business challenges
  4. Solid decision-making capability driven by developing strategic product and business initiatives
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with credibility across all levels of the organization, particularly Chief and SVP Level
  6. Dynamic and collaborative style, able to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
