Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Aspire People. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with Autism and lower level ability, providing individualized support and guidance to help them access the curriculum.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one support to a child with Autism and lower level ability
  • Work closely with the SENCO, leadership team, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring the child's needs are met
  • Communicate effectively with the child, SENCO, and parents to ensure seamless support
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
  • Long-term experience working with children on a one-to-one basis
  • SEN experience covering Autism and lower level ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
