Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Together Trust. As a key member of our residential childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing support for children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the team to prepare and assist children and young people to fulfill their person-centred plans.
- Support children and young people with communication and work closely with the team to improve their lives.
- Work flexibly to undertake a range of duties in a well-planned way that respects and values the children and young people as individuals.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with other staff, parents/carers, and professionals.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, taking the lead when required, maintaining and encouraging open and honest communication.
- Good standard of written English and IT skills, with the ability to write reports and keep records of children and young people's progress.
- Transporting children/young people to activities or school is a requirement, with a driving licence held for 12 months being desirable.
- A competitive salary of £23,412.00 per year, with an hourly rate of £12.01 per hour.
- Salary enhancements of £96 for sleep-in shifts and a 25% uplift on the hourly rate for weekend shifts.
