The role involves conducting maintenance and inspections on aircraft avionic assemblies, components, and avionics installations during scheduled servicing, maintenance, and upgrades.
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of maintenance tasks, including: disassembly, repair, modification, and maintenance work such as removal, installation, and functional testing under appropriate supervision.
Must be proficient in utilizing approved data in the form of maintenance instructions and schedules for both planned and unplanned tasks.
A solid understanding of approved data is required, along with the ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, complete necessary documentation, and present work ready for inspection.
Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, or a military equivalent apprenticeship/qualifications is essential.Aircraft platform type training (as required) – educated to ONC level or equivalent military training
Familiarity with quality procedures, processes, and specifications is crucial.

The Typhoon Maintenance Facility Team:
This position will be situated within the TMF and will involve collaboration with the RAF to execute Maintenance, Repair, and Upgrade activities to fulfill the requirements of the UK Typhoon fleet as part of the TyTAN Managed Maintenance contracted service.
You will engage with cutting-edge technology supporting the Typhoon fleet globally and work directly on the Aircraft alongside RAF personnel.
