We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our client, a privately owned business in the finance sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations and leading a small team.
Your role will be varied and hands-on, responsible for:
- Overseeing the financial operations, managing a small team, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions.
- Producing monthly management accounts and the financial information pack.
- Budgeting, planning, and forecasting to support business growth.
- Preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax, PAYE, and VAT returns.
- Improving financial processes and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Providing commercial analysis and management information to support business decisions.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a growing SME business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive improvements and add value.
