About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee the construction and installation process of noise control projects and enclosures on various sites. As the first-line contact of Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) on site, the successful candidate will handle customer interactions and updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise the construction and installation of noise control projects and enclosures, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractor installation partners, ensuring they meet the Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) high standards and project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the construction and installation process, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Health and Safety Management: Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customers on-site, conducting regular update meetings and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety inspections, and quality checks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on noise control or related fields.
  • Possess knowledge and/or understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) professionally to clients, subcontractors, and the internal organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an industrial environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges on-site.
