Job Summary

Culina Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming goods, ensuring accurate documentation and storage.
  • Operate a hand pallet truck to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Use a radio data terminal (RDT) to access customer orders and warehouse locations.
  • Assemble customer orders from order profiles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stretch wrap completed orders to secure them for dispatch.
  • Remove incoming loads from vehicles, checking for quality, quantity, and best before dates.
  • Load picked and marshalled pallets onto outward bound vehicles.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and in accordance with training.
  • Adhere to a clean as you go policy and participate in the company's recycling and waste management program.
  • Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Report any health, safety, and welfare breaches to the site management team.

Requirements

  • Experience using a hand pallet truck.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Adaptable approach to training.
  • Conscientious and reliable attitude.
  • Good working attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
