Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Team Member to join our thriving butchery business, Warren Butterworth Catering Butchers Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in the preparation, processing, and packaging of high-quality meat products in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the success of our business. You will work alongside experienced butchers and be responsible for:

  • Packaging of meat products with attention to detail and quality
  • Maintaining a clean and organized production area
  • Assisting in the movement of packages and materials
  • Performing additional tasks as required to support the production team

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience in a food production environment, although not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills
  • Team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role, which involves being on your feet all day
  • Understanding of manual handling and health & safety rules and regulations

Work Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 6am-3.30pm, Saturday: 6am-12pm (6 shifts)
  • You will work 5 out of these 6 shifts per week
  • You will have one day off Mon-Sat, and we are always closed on Sundays
  • Average hours: 42.6 hours per week worked over your 5 shifts on weekly rotation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.05 per hour

Expected hours: 42.6 per week
