The Estimator Role

As an Estimator, you will occupy an office-based role and also carry out site visits/surveys when required. Your responsibilities will include:

• Travelling across the UK to survey works and meet with clients.
• Compiling Scopes of work from client briefs and documentation.
• All aspects of tendering.
• Sending packages to new and existing Sub-contractors across the supply chain.
• Compiling estimates of true cost from multiple sectors and presenting to the Estimating Manager.
• Presenting clear handovers for the Commercial and Operational stakeholders.

Our Ideal Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Estimator who has the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience in take offs of measurements.
• Main Contractor experience preferable.
• Construction Industry Qualification, Site/Trade experience or both.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and present clearly to all stakeholders.
• Experience using Estimating software (Causeway preferably), preferred but not necessary.
• Experience with Excel, preferred but not necessary.
• Current and preferably clean driving license.
