EXPERIENCED CLASS 1 (C+E) HGV OPERATORS REQUIRED

Search Consultancy is seeking to onboard Class 1 HGV Operators for a prominent client in the logistics sector.

Having collaborated with this client for nearly 15 years, we are dedicated to providing driving roles that offer flexibility and consistent working schedules.

You will be operating a Class 1 HGV (C+E) vehicle, responsible for making deliveries to various retail locations across the UK. Your daily tasks will involve handling ambient goods and delivering items such as hanging garments. Typically, a standard day will consist of managing 2 trailers worth of deliveries, averaging between 3-5 store locations.

Our client provides a comprehensive induction training program (with paid training). While prior experience with tail lifts is beneficial, it will be included in the training.


SHIFT SCHEDULES
We are in search of Class 1 (C+E) Operators to work any 5 out of 7 days.

Day Operators commence their shifts between early morning hours, focusing on store deliveries and occasionally performing trunking to another depot or making container collections.
(Day work is available throughout the week)

Night Operators typically start in the evening, engaging in a variety of tasks including store deliveries, trunking, and container work.
(Night work is generally available from Sunday to Friday)


COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
PAYE Rates include a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift:
- Nights: £19
- Saturday: £21
- Sunday: £23

PAYE Rates with holiday pay included:
- Nights: £21
- Saturday: £23
- Sunday: £25

We are looking for dedicated operators seeking ongoing employment opportunities.
Applicants must possess a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV License.
For insurance purposes, a minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is required.
