We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, and driving cost savings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to drive sustainable improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.
- Select and manage the global supply chain to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective service to our business.
- Establish commercial frameworks for suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, value for money, and cost improvement.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement purchasing processes to ensure compliance with business requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for cost modeling and reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A competitive salary range of £40,000 - £52,500, plus a performance-related bonus of up to 12.5%.
- An attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
