Position Overview: A prominent commercial law firm is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to support their Housing Management and Property Litigation team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £24,000 along with additional benefits.

Work Arrangement: The position will involve a hybrid working model, allowing for 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely after an initial training period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors and other legal professionals in managing case files effectively.
  • Draft and prepare necessary legal documents including claim forms, pleadings, and witness statements for submission to the County Court.
  • Manage multiple deadlines across various cases efficiently.
  • Compile trial bundles and ensure all documentation is prepared for court proceedings.
  • Coordinate with the Court to confirm that all required paperwork is submitted and received in a timely manner.
  • Attend court sessions to provide support to Barristers and other legal staff.
  • Conduct advocacy on routine matters within the County Court.
  • Address inquiries from clients, Barristers, and colleagues, ensuring all paperwork is tracked and followed up on.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess an LPC qualification and demonstrate a keen interest in the Housing sector. While experience in housing management, leasehold management, or property litigation is preferred, it is not mandatory. A proactive attitude and a willingness to engage fully in the role are essential, as this position may serve as a stepping stone towards a training contract in the future. The firm has a strong track record of promoting from within, with over 80% of trainees being offered positions internally.
