Breakfast Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Chef to join our team at a hotel in the Dartford/Swanley area. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a range of cold menu items for our Breakfast Buffet, as well as cooking to order hot food items for guests and non-residents taking breakfast in our restaurant or private dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing cold food items for a comprehensive breakfast buffet
  • Preparing and cooking hot food items to order
  • Completing advance preparation for the next breakfast service
  • Cleaning down your section at the end of your shift
  • Handing over any requirements to the Chef in preparation for your next shift
  • Supporting the team with general preparation and service for lunch service and afternoon tea service as directed by the Head Chef/Sous Chef
Requirements:
  • Experience of preparing a range of breakfast dishes within a hotel or restaurant environment
  • Methodical and organized approach to ensure breakfast service runs smoothly
  • Rosette experience or quality fresh food preparation, cooking, and service evident on your CV
  • Reliable and punctual with a smile
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £30,500 per annum, with a guaranteed service charge payment of £1,500 per annum. Live out only, with transport essential due to the early starts.
