Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Towing and Roadside Service Operators to join our platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing our platform to optimize routes, manage schedules, and track performance.
  • Operating and managing transportation services effectively.
  • Ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service quality.
  • Safely loading and unloading vehicles using appropriate equipment and transporting vehicles to designated locations.
  • Providing roadside assistance services such as jump-starts, tire changes, and lockout services.
  • Communicating clearly and courteously with clients, assisting customers in understanding the towing process, handling their concerns professionally, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Regularly inspecting and maintaining the tow truck to ensure it is in safe and operational condition and completing all required paperwork accurately.
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a fleet manager, operator, or related role in the transportation industry.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and towing equipment, excellent driving skills with a clean driving record, a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for towing operations, and certification in towing and recovery (optional but preferred).
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and vehicles, ability to work in various weather conditions and at different times of the day or night.
  • The ability to handle stressful situations and provide high-quality customer service, good communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
  • A reliable and fully operational tow truck, ideally less than ten (10) years old.

Insurance and Compliance

Your company must maintain its business license, commercial general liability of $1 million, workers' compensation of $1 million, and a million-dollar auto insurance policy for each occurrence limit and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
