About the Role

As a Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing the growth plan for the SYLVEP and working closely with tourism leads across the four South Yorkshire local authorities and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the growth plan for the SYLVEP
  • Contribute to the delivery of the South Yorkshire Destination Management Plan
  • Support the development of the visitor economy and help make it market-ready
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify regional commonalities and turn them into opportunities
  • Report writing, presentation, and communication skills to get South Yorkshire's messages in front of the right people
