Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Springfields Fuels Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet the requirements of our customers and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Manage projects and provide guidance on quality-related matters to cross-functional teams.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality-related topics and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management to review project milestones and ensure quality objectives are met.
- Lead and participate in inspections and audits to support the Site Audit Programme.
- Support the application of quality requirements in the delivery of growth projects.
- Deliver activities in support of the Site Corrective Action program, including reporting non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational capability requirements, including nuclear baselines and management of organizational change.
- Support the delivery of Management Review activities and provide advice on records management.
- Prepare summary reports and metrics for EHS&Q Forum and Management Systems Meetings.
- Support the application of document control arrangements and act as a guide for external audits.
- HNC in a technical discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality-related role.
- Professional certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (or willingness to complete).
- Membership of an appropriate professional membership is desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
- Demonstrated proficiency in auditing or surveillance.
- Awareness of site license requirements associated with quality assurance and arrangements required to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in quality management standards and guidelines, including ISO 9001.
- Working knowledge of current versions of IAEA GSR-2, BS EN ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Experienced in the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Knowledge and application of the traits of a healthy nuclear safety culture.
