About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Luton, Bedfordshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with different SEND, including Autism, in a mainstream primary school setting
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with additional needs
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation, as well as implementing strategies to support children's learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
