Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Retail Manager at Superdrug, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service: Ensuring that customers have a great shopping experience and receive excellent service from our team.
  • Team Leadership: Coaching and developing a team to deliver high operational standards and results.
  • Sales and Profit: Working with the Store Manager to identify and explore opportunities to grow sales, ensure optimum stock range and availability, and maintain strict cost and stock control.
  • Training and Development: Participating in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge, including ear and nose piercing training.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Retail Experience: Previous experience as a Retail Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a fast-moving high street retailer.
  • Beauty and Health Knowledge: A passion for beauty and health products and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver high results.
  • Business Acumen: An understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators, including sales, profit, and service.
