We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team at AO. As a key member of our Enabling Team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and resources to our software development teams, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with software development teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Design and implement software solutions using C#,.NET Core, and AWS, as well as Terraform, TypeScript, and DynamoDB.
  • Focus on delivering clean, high-value software and enabling teams to rationalize tooling and technology, creating interface boundaries for evolved software domains.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving across the technical landscape, refactoring legacy code bases and applications, removing technical debt, and improving coding standards.
  • Lead technical change based on informed decision-making, rationalizing tooling and technology throughout the SDLC.
  • Analyze and integrate software components and third-party programs, recommending and executing improvements, and creating technical documentation for reference and reporting.
  • Contribute to improvements across agile delivery and the SDLC community.
  • Participate in C4 design.

About You

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in software development, who is proficient in a broad range of technologies, including C#, ASP.NET,.NET Core, Terraform, TypeScript, and legacy code bases. You should have a passion for applied coding standards, clean code, and working consistently with the development community to improve standards.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with software security, development frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of software architecture, API, and integration design.
  • Familiarity with C4 modeling and the ability to design and build secure, scalable, distributable, maintainable, and high-performance software.
