About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our iOS Foundations team at Gousto. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for improving the developer experience of our Product Engineers by working on the core aspects of our iOS app and the tools that support it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality software solutions for our iOS app, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, and develop technical strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain our Mobile CI infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of our app to the App Store.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge, and contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team.
  • Apply lean methodologies to improve our software development processes, and contribute to the evolution of our software through an iterative approach.
  • Contribute to our iOS Guild, helping us improve our ways of working and our codebase.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in iOS development, with a focus on Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Proficiency in Xcode project configuration, Swift Package Manager, and App Store submission.
  • Familiarity with Fastlane, Danger, and cloud services such as AWS.
  • Good debugging skills, with the ability to systematically identify and resolve problems.
  • Experience with design systems, and a deep understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
