We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our client's Senior Management Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success.

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy, including budgets, forecasts, and analysis, to support the company's business objectives.
• External Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including bankers and auditors, to ensure smooth annual audit processes and effective communication.
• Periodic Reporting: Lead the finance team to provide timely, accurate, and insightful management information, including weekly Flash and monthly Board Packs, with commentary and performance metrics.
• Budgeting/Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of financial strategic plans, develop budgets, financial planning, forecasts, and models to enable effective decision-making.
• Risk Management: Identify new potential risks, ensure robust systems and controls exist throughout the company, and mitigate risks.
• Project Accounting: Lead on all project and acquisition accounting.
• Leadership: Maintain high visibility, lead, coach, and mentor the finance teams, instilling a culture of continuous improvement.
• Team Building and Communication: Ensure finance teams engage and partner appropriately, adding value to financial planning across the organization.
• Operational Integration: Support and promote the consolidation and integration of international entities into the Group consolidation model.
• Analysis: Interrogate management information, offering regular and insightful commentary on commercial, operational, and financial performance.

• Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Experience: Previous and significant experience within the construction sector
• Skills: Team player, excellent communicator and influencer, strong leadership skills
