About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Broadlands Clinic in Norfolk. As a member of our Nursing Bank, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users, working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to service users, under the guidance of registered nurses and senior healthcare assistants.
  • Participate in promoting high standards of care, adhering to the philosophy of Person-Centred Planning.
  • Supervise and assist service users with personal hygiene requirements, including bathing, washing, and toileting.
  • Contribute to the implementation of individual nursing care plans, working in collaboration with registered staff.
  • Assist with occupational and rehabilitation therapies, including sports, shopping, and social activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, including nursing observations, fluid balance, weight, temperature, pulse, and respirations.
Requirements
  • Good general education.
  • NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to positively manage change and adapt to new situations.
  • Flexible and responsive approach to care.
