Senior Scientist - Immunology

  • Permanent position within the Early Development Services division at Lonza
  • Focus on the isolation and preservation of human primary cells
  • Design and conduct a variety of in vitro cell-based bioassays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ existing assay methodologies to evaluate immune responses
  • Isolation, preservation, and characterization of human PBMC
  • Enhancement and innovation of assay methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or Immunology
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Biological Sciences/Immunology or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficient in PBMC and primary immune cell culture techniques
  • Familiarity with immunological methodologies such as flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, Luminex, ELISA, or live cell imaging
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, along with meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehension of human immunology and bioassay development
  • Relevant experience in the industry
