Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, to clients with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions.
  • Support clients with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Engage clients in social activities, such as hobbies and interests, to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
