Job Summary:

A qualified lawyer with at least five years of post-qualification legal experience (with at least three years at a law firm) as a real estate lawyer is required to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts in English for AWS's worldwide data center expansion through land acquisitions and leasing.
  • Providing legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis.
  • Structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements and leases for AWS's real estate portfolio.
  • Managing outside counsel and advising internal business clients on real estate matters.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing process improvements across the team.
  • Resolving legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships.
  • Handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
