James Lewis Recruitment is assisting a key client in their search for an Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor.
The company provides services across Design & Build, full M&E services, HVAC, IT infrastructures, CCTV, security, access control, and fire alarms. They have a strong focus on quality installations and work closely with their clients on a range of projects, including commercial, education, residential, healthcare, data centres, and industrial facilities.
The project involves the refurbishment of an existing facility, which requires the delivery of electrical services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finances, variation accounts, health and safety, and ensuring a snag-free delivery. They will also be expected to demonstrate a proven track record in managing sub-contractors and their delivery.
The client is open to previous experience, although any experience on similar projects would be deemed an advantage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical project management, with experience in managing projects up to £6m.
The client is willing to consider day rates, but they are likely to be in the region of £350 - £400. Previous experience on UK-based projects is essential in order to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of electrical services on a large-scale refurbishment project.
- Oversee the finances and variation accounts, ensuring a successful project outcome.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are in place and adhered to.
- Manage sub-contractors and their delivery, ensuring a snag-free outcome.
