The Role:

Permanent position

10.25 hours per week

Shift Schedule:

o Week 1: Mon 15:00-18:00, Thurs 07:30-10:00, Fri, Sat & Sun 15:00-18:00

o Week 2: Tues & Wed 15:00-18:00

A Typical Day:

You will play an essential role in our residents' daily lives through consistent interaction, not only during meal times but throughout your shift. Our mission is to ensure that the joy of food is accessible to everyone, including those with specific dietary needs. The social experience of dining and the nutritional value of meals are crucial to the health and wellness of our residents.

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee kitchen operations and manage catering staff, including the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals to our residents.

The onsite care team will provide you with vital information regarding residents' needs through a detailed catering handover, ensuring a collaborative approach to personalized care.

Our central support team will assist you in maintaining food safety standards, health regulations, and managing food allergens, while our dedicated menu and compliance teams will supply you with menu cycles, nutritional data, and promotional materials, allowing you to concentrate on culinary excellence.

Our electronic management system will facilitate communication and provide you with regular updates, minimizing paperwork.

You should have prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a structured approach and a solid understanding of the food service industry, including knowledge of modified diets and budget management.
