Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Driver to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for completing collections, deliveries, and warehouse operative duties in a highly secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a small van to complete collections and deliveries in the local area or further afield.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
- Perform manual handling, picking, and packing duties, including goods in/out and documentation checks.
- Check the weight and dimensions of freight to be moved and label cargo accordingly.
- Report any damage or issues with cargo.
- Conduct manual bond checks and handle dangerous goods with care.
- Perform ad-hoc administration duties as required.
Requirements:
- Standard UK Driver's License with a minimum of 1 year's experience and a maximum of 3 points.
- Warehouse experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Dangerous goods awareness and basic Microsoft Office skills are required.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Standard working hours of 09:00 - 17:30, with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Overtime opportunities available and well paid.
- 5 weeks' annual leave, rising with service.
- Pension scheme and private healthcare available upon completion of probation.
