Research Scientist

Next-Link is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team in antibody discovery. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for driving our innovative antibody projects forward from the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize exceptional practical skills, excellent communication, and team working abilities to drive our antibody projects forward.
- Support immunisation-based antibody discovery within a team environment.
- Perform antibody binding assays using flow cytometry and ELISA.
- Carry out mammalian cell transfections and cell culture.
- Generate mRNA-LNP as a reagent for immunisation.
- Help to organise the immunisation timetable for various projects.
- Be responsible for clearly presenting data in a variety of meeting situations internally.
- Provide intellectual and practical input to develop and implement more efficient processes.
- Contribute to basic lab organisation and maintenance duties such as stock taking and aliquoting reagents.
We are looking for a graduate scientist with a strong academic record and laboratory experience. Industrial experience is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with some of the following techniques: mammalian cell culture, preparation of cell suspensions from mammalian tissues, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell imaging, PCR, cloning, and working with mRNA. The ability to analyse, interpret, and present data generated is essential. A highly motivated individual with a proven ability to deliver to tight timelines is required. Exceptional organisational, communication, and inter-personal skills are also necessary. A passion for delivering innovative new medicines for patients suffering with serious disease is essential.
