About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Apprentice Chef to join our team at Greene King pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, while also developing your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present food that meets our high standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to ensure the safety of our team and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with your team to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, menus and promotions.

Apprenticeship Details
  • A 15-month apprenticeship program with a mix of face-to-face and remote training.
  • Regular reviews and feedback sessions with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer.
  • The opportunity to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs).
  • A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the program.
