Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal to support our Solicitors and Legal Executives in the progression of their serious injury case load and be the first point of contact with our clients. You will also be required to draft standard free form letters to progress cases effectively through our case management system (ProClaim).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead file handlers in the progression of their serious injury caseload.
  • Deal with telephone enquiries wherever possible and take detailed telephone messages to be immediately communicated to the Fee Earner.
  • Achieve KPI's on a monthly basis as agreed with your line manager.
  • Maintain and update the case management system.
  • Liaise with the Finance Department regarding the payment of disbursements, outstanding accounts, etc.

Person Specification

We are looking for a colleague with previous experience of assisting with a caseload of serious injury files and being competent at working with our case management system. You will also be committed to delivering exceptional client care for each of our clients and have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, and strong organisational and time management skills.
