Job Title: Part-Time Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Horsham, Haywards Heath & Burgess Hill. As a Part-Time Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily routines, providing both practical help and emotional support to ensure their well-being and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care with dignity and respect, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Plan and prepare meals according to specific dietary needs.
  • Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that promote emotional well-being and mental stimulation.
  • Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and comfortable living environment.
  • Facilitate appointments and social outings, providing transportation when necessary.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or home environment.

Working Hours:

This is a Part-Time position with a requirement to work some weekends and evenings on a rotational basis.

  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide professional references.
