About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team at Travelport. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the operating expense month-end reporting within the FP&A function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile month-end close packs, including downloading regular Oracle and FMR reports and checking for alignment between systems.
- Produce and release reporting packs, ensuring accurate reporting by VP with comprehensive analysis of FTE resource, including detailed commentary and variance analysis at relevant levels for publication through Power BI.
- Complete forecast and budget for FTEs and reporting consolidation, ensuring alignment to strategic expectations of group finance.
- Partner with the People Team and Operational teams to ensure accuracy of FTE reporting.
- Manage FTE transfers with the People Team and in finance systems.
- Review, reconcile, and approve new job requisitions.
- Monitor and report joiners, transfers, conversions, and leavers.
- Complete analysis of wages, pension, bonus, taxes, and welfare costs.
- Manage and report total employee cost base, including wages, employee development, travel, employee infrastructure, and employee facilities.
- Run month-end downloads for close reporting and ad-hoc requests as needed throughout the month using Oracle.
- Provide ad-hoc FP&A support where needed.
Requirements:
- Financial analysis experience, including financial reporting experience.
- Studying Accountancy (ACCA / CIMA).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a benefit.
- Proven communication and relationship building skills.
- Attention to detail and demand of high standards of presentation.
- A team player in proactively developing cross-functional support.
- Prior experience of Cognos BI, TM1 planning tools, and Power BI a benefit.
