Join Our Team as a Laundry Technician

We are seeking a dedicated individual to become part of our team on a Full-Time and Permanent basis as a Laundry Technician at our

DEPOT Operations Centre, working within our Floorcare Hygiene Division, a key segment of the phs Group, the foremost provider of Hygiene Services in the UK.

We are looking for someone with a background in production, manufacturing, or commercial laundry experience to support the daily operations of the laundry, ensuring that all floorcare products are cleaned to exceptional standards and in compliance with phs Group protocols.

Your Role as a Laundry Technician:

As a Laundry Technician with phs, your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Processing all mats available for washing to meet the quality standards established by phs.
2. Ensuring that production and service quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.

3. Providing a high-quality service to the operation, focusing on the rapid turnover of mats and ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and dried.

4. Maintaining all laundry equipment and related items according to manufacturer specifications and company guidelines, ensuring that all records are kept current.

5. In case of machinery malfunction, you will be expected to either perform minor repairs or notify the Laundry Support Manager.

6. Following changeover procedures at the end of your shift and communicating any relevant information clearly.

7. Keeping accurate production records as required by the company quality manual.
8. Adhering to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, particularly regarding the use of machinery, and ensuring appropriate assistance is summoned in emergencies.
