About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer requirements and standards, ensuring they are met or negotiated, and prepare for and attend customer meetings.
  • Lead quality expectations and issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any concerns.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, creating and reporting on project progress.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to drive project success, working closely with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Design and evaluate test procedures, identifying potential failure modes and providing solutions.
  • Conduct machine safety reviews and develop solutions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Analyze data to solve problems and provide practical, effective solutions.
  • Source and qualify new suppliers, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, to drive project success.
  • Occasional travel to customer and other group sites may be required.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience of managing customers, suppliers, and personnel.
  • A minimum of a Physics Degree.
  • Excellent consultation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
