About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Margery Girling House in Felixstowe. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our customers, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Support customers with temporary or terminal illnesses, providing emotional and practical care.
  • Assist with eating and drinking, light domestic duties, and social activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Care Certificate or equivalent desirable.
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent desirable.
  • Full driving license desirable.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Must not have worked in the care industry for the previous 2 years or have come straight from education.
  • Must be employed for a minimum of 8 hours per week.
  • Must work for at least 12 weeks with Orwell to qualify for the £750 joining bonus.
