About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Principal Drainage Engineer to join our team at Pell Frischmann Group Ltd. in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and providing technical support on the design, quality assurance, and delivery of strategic flooding and below ground drainage and highway infrastructure related projects in support of our Land Development and Building Structures Teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leading and providing technical support on the design, quality assurance, and delivery of strategic flooding and below ground drainage and highway infrastructure related projects.
  2. Understanding and managing our clients' needs with high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions delivered to programme and budget.
  3. Representing Pell Frischmann externally in project delivery, business development, and marketing.
  4. Managing multiple concurrent work streams to deliver projects on programme and within budget.
  5. Line management, mentoring, and leading the technical development of the below drainage team.

Requirements:

  1. A consultancy or development background with a balance of private and public sector work.
  2. A civil engineering degree and be approaching Chartered status with experience in highway and highway drainage design.
  3. Strong postgraduate experience in a civil engineering working environment.
  4. The ability to produce masterplans, site appraisals, write reports to support planning applications, design calculations, and construction drawings.
  5. Experience in the use of MicroDrainage and Civils 3D modelling software.
  6. Sound knowledge of relevant design codes such as DMRB, Local Authority Highway and Water Authority Design Guides.
