Job Title: SHEQ Advisor

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our innovative alliance with Anglian Water (Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SHEQ management systems to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a SHEQ advisory role, preferably in the water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
