Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Excellence Lead - S2P & Indirect Categories

Job Summary:

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Excellence Lead to join our team. As a strategic leader, you will play a key role in driving procurement process excellence, guiding the transition to a more efficient, digitally enabled, and category management-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of Source-to-Pay and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve procurement effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Group Procurement Director to implement a new Indirect procurement structure, focused on driving process efficiency, automation, and category management excellence.
  • Act as the procurement subject matter expert, advancing category and supplier management frameworks. Support the team in building capabilities, designing optimised processes, and setting measurable performance targets.
  • Spearhead the full adoption and utilisation of the SAP Ariba platform and other procurement technologies to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and increase value through automation.
  • Develop and refine procurement standards, policies, and procedures to drive functional efficiency and consistency across the S2P cycle.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation while supporting the company's Scope 3 carbon reduction targets through procurement practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of S2P or P2P process improvement and optimisation in a fast-paced, complex environment, ideally within the FMCG/Food industry.
  • Senior-level procurement experience with expertise in Indirect category management, supplier relationship management, and a strong passion for process automation and digital transformation.
  • Deep understanding of procurement technologies such as SAP Ariba, and experience driving automation and e-procurement initiatives.

  • A highly competitive salary of £70,000-£85,000 with an attractive bonus and benefits package.
