Health and Safety Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Public Health Wales. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in leading compliance, quality, risk, and health and safety services across our national screening programmes.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and review specialist Health & Safety and clinical governance policies, ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Lead the quality agenda for Screening Services, setting clear outcomes and ensuring systems and processes meet required standards.
- Represent the Screening Division at the Public Health Wales Health and Safety Group, providing assurance to senior executives and embedding a culture of health and safety across the Screening Division.
- Develop and deliver Health and Safety training sessions tailored to managers and staff across the division.

Requirements:- NEBOSH qualified or recognised equivalent at diploma level; or equivalent level of skills and knowledge with a commitment to attaining the NEBOSH qualification.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Knowledge of risk management systems.
- Knowledge and proven understanding of Duty of Quality and Duty of Candour.
We offer a full-time position with flexible working arrangements, including home or remote working.
