Position Overview

Aether Financial, a prominent firm in the financial services sector, is seeking to appoint a Senior Tax Consultant for a temporary engagement.

This role encompasses a diverse range of tax responsibilities, including both corporate taxation and individual client services.

As part of the tax division, your key duties will involve:

  • Managing individual client accounts, which includes the preparation of self-assessment tax documentation for clients
  • Drafting corporation tax returns (CT600)
  • Evaluating tax submissions prepared by junior team members
  • Assisting the Tax Director with various initiatives
  • Preparing and filing ATED Returns
  • Collaborating with other departments within the firm and addressing complex tax inquiries

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a CTA or ATT qualification; ACA or ACCA qualified individuals will also be considered
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of specialized tax experience within a UK financial services firm
  • Possess expertise in both corporate and personal (individual client) taxation
  • Preferably have experience working with high-net-worth clients
