RG Consultancy is pleased to be working with a dynamic organization seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The company has a collaborative approach and is looking for a motivated individual who can support with financial implementations and serve as the primary point of contact within the finance department.
This role will have one direct report and will report to the director of the company, with support from the operations director. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising one accounts assistant
- Preparing cash flow forecasts
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Managing CIS and subcontractor payments
- Preparing VAT returns
- Reconciling balance sheets
- Overseeing the purchase ledger (assisting when needed)
- Managing the sales ledger and credit control
- Assisting with year-end account preparation
- Supporting with annual audits
- Assisting with payroll (primarily monthly and subcontractors)
- Utilizing a bespoke in-house software and MS Excel (spreadsheets and V-look-ups, etc.)
