Job Title: Occupational Hygienist

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Hygienist to join our team. As an Occupational Hygienist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leadership and operational teams to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental management standards.
  • Develop, implement, and embed a functional health and safety plan to deliver the overall health and safety vision.
  • Influence, coach, and mentor leadership and operational teams to develop working knowledge and application of health and safety management requirements.
  • Provide relevant management information and trend analysis of health, safety, and environmental performance data.
  • Develop new standards, processes, guidance, and documentation as part of a cultural maturity shift.
Requirements:
  • Relevant health and safety qualification/training (e.g., NEBOSH).
  • Good knowledge of site health and safety risks, their management controls, and legal standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to time, quality, and cost.
  • Experience in client-side construction or working within an asset infrastructure business.
