We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management Architect to join our team at Whatnot. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure identity and access management systems that enable our customers to securely authenticate and manage their identities and profile data.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement identity and access management systems that meet the needs of our customers and the company.
- Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain secure authentication and authorization protocols and procedures.
- Work closely with engineers across the organization to ensure that identity and access management systems are integrated with other applications and services.
- Take ownership of features from start to finish, ensuring that they meet product requirements and are delivered on time.
- 7+ years of experience in security, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management protocols and concepts, including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and PAM.
- Experience with software development in languages such as Python.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams during high-stress situations.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and use good judgment to establish an order of priorities on the fly.
